CALLING ALL CHAINSMITHS! 🔗⚒️✨
It’s time to bring our first JOURNEYMAN LEVEL class to Fae Nectar, once again brought to you by Lighthouse Forge! Our ironweaving students will create an elegant Byzantine Bracelet, and learn advanced techniques to add to their repertoire for future projects. Materials for the project will be provided, and our teachers will be on hand to provide personal instruction as you develop new skills and create your next project in the company of our lovely community of crafters.
You’ll be instructed by smiths Jesse and Turner Hammett, owner of Lighthouse Forge and featured presenter at John C Campbell Folk School. They’ll share some of the history of this craft with you as he teaches you the journeyman techniques needed to complete your chainmail project, and the pathways to pursue as your expertise grows. We couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with Lighthouse Forge and look forward to hosting this incredible opportunity to learn from the masters.
Journeyman level Class, Ages 16+
Sunday, March 22nd 2-5pm
Cost includes workshop fee, and material costs.
Students are expected to have some experience, and to bring their own sets of pliers.
