Fae Nectar is tucked away in magical place, nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the enchanted shores of Lake Lure. The journey may take some twists and turns through gorgeous mountain roads, and some of the routes have been changed by the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in 2024.
So read on for a guide to getting here from any direction, and we’ll see you soon!

Take US-64 W/US-74 ALT W from Rutherfordton to Lake Lure.
Travel Time: ~35 minutes
In the coming months the route through Bat Cave to Chimney Rock will be opened for general traffic.
This will allow guests from the Asheville area to use US-74 to travel over the Gerton Gap to Fae Nectar. If you encounter remaining roadworks, please be polite and patient.
Travel Time: ~45 minutes
Alternatively, take I-40 E to exit 73 Old Fort. Follow Bat Cave Rd, Cedar Creek Rd and Bills Creek Rd to US-74 ALT.
Turn right onto US-64 W/US-74 ALT W directly to Fae Nectar
In the coming months the route through Bat Cave to Chimney Rock will be opened for general traffic.
This will allow guests from the Hendersonville area to use US-64 to travel through Edneyville to Fae Nectar. If you encounter remaining roadworks, please be polite and patient.
Travel Time: ~35 minutes
Alternatively, take I-26 E to Columbus. Use exit 163 and take NC-9 N. In Lake Lure, take a left onto US-64 W/US-74 ALT W and drive directly to Fae Nectar.
Take I-85 N and use exit 70 to merge onto I-26 W toward Asheville. Use exit 66 toward NC-108 E. Take 108E to Mill Spring, and turn left onto NC-9 N. In Lake Lure, turn left onto US-64 W/US-74 ALT W and drive directly to Fae Nectar
